València Inspira Diseño 2026 reimagines the future of habitat by uniting four major industry platforms at Feria Valencia. The event, held from 28 September to 1 October, brought together Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar, Espacio Cocina SICI, and the new 360 by Cevisama initiative.
This collaboration transformed more than 110,000 square metres across ten halls into a thorough setting of contemporary design. More than 1,200 exhibiting brands connected with architects, interior designers, and manufacturers from around the world.
A Shift in Disciplines
The spaces we inhabit are no longer designed through isolated disciplines. Furniture interacts with architecture, textiles shape atmosphere, and kitchens become extensions of living spaces. Ceramics and surface materials increasingly operate as architectural elements in their own right.
The four platforms formed the core of the gathering, with Feria Hábitat València spanning more than 90,000 square metres of furniture, lighting, decoration, and contract design. Textilhogar focused on home textiles and upholstery, while Espacio Cocina SICI highlighted kitchen furniture and equipment. The new 360 by Cevisama expanded the conversation into bathrooms and coverings, reflecting the growing intersection between materials and interiors.
Scale reinforced this interconnected approach. Compared with the previous joint edition in 2024, the event grew by 17 percent in gross exhibition area and 32 percent in exhibiting brands. More than 3,000 national and international buyers attended through a network of trade missions and industry organisations.
Exploration and Experimentation
The programme encouraged exchange and experimentation through key installations. Hotel Hábitat 2026, conceived by Mexican architect Joaquín Homs, explored contemporary hospitality through a series of rooms developed with participating studios and brands. Matter invited visitors to engage directly with material innovation, while Textile Trends Space 2027 examined emerging directions shaping home textiles.
The return of Salón nude provided a platform for emerging designers and educational institutions. An exhibition dedicated to Spain’s National Innovation and Design Awards traced the influence of design and innovation on the country’s creative scene.
Shared spaces were unified by a creative direction from Odosdesign, creating a visual and spatial language across the wider gathering. This schedule included Ágora nude, Foro Hotel Hábitat, and AMC Kitchen Lab. These sessions brought together conversations around sustainability, wellbeing, hospitality, technology, craftsmanship, artificial intelligence, and the future of professional practice.
